Cody Ray Baisden

Cody Ray Baisden 30 years old of Lenore, West Virginia departed this life Thursday, December 23, 2021.

Born on November 5,1991 in Logan, West Virginia, he was the son of the late Ray Ferrell and Brenda Baisden.

In addition to his parents, he is proceeded in death by his paternal grandmother Janice Ferrell.

Cody was a former Volunteer Fire Fighter at LVFD. He has worked for the past 5 years as a coal miner and was currently working at Ramaco Eagle Mine. In his spare time he enjoyed participating in sporting activities with his children, riding four wheelers, working on cars, and spending any free time with his wife and children.

Those left to mourn his loss and cherish his memory is the love of his life Heather Dentro Baisden, children Ariona, Bryson, Easton, and Cayden Baisden all of Lenore; brother Justin Baisden, Aunt Beverly Ferrell, Rod (Anetta) Ferrell, Mickey (Reginia) Ferrell all of Delbarton; Grandparents Raymond and Janice Ferrell of Tupelo Mississippi. In laws Tony (Christy) Dentro of Kermit, Ginger Dempsey of Lenore, Alisha (Kaleb) Meade and nephew Oakley Meade of Marrowbone and Grandmother in law Barbara Dentro of Lenore. He also leaves behind a host of dear relatives and friends.

Friends may join the family from 1:00pm-2:00pm Monday, December 27, at Nolan Freewill Baptist Church with Minister Earl White officiating. Burial will follow at Lenore Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Tony Dentro, Kaleb Meade, Justin Baisden, Ernest Jewell, David Hodge, Jerry Hodge, and Zack Maynard.

He may be gone from our sight, but never from our hearts.
