Ida Evans

Ida Evans age 68 of Belo, WV made her journey to her heavenly home on January 26, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. Ida was born March 10, 1954 to the late Mose and Lydia Runyon in Belo, WV. She grew up and became a homemaker, mother, nanny and cherished aunt. Ida loved preparing meals for her family and friends. She always made the best food because of the love she put into it. She enjoyed spending time with her family and church friends, and being in the presence of the Lord! Ida attended the Nolan Church of God Acts 20:28. She was a prayer warrior and shared the love of Jesus everywhere she went. She is Preceed in death by her loving husband William Evans, her Brother Bert Runyon, and Sisters Betty Marcum, Mary Hunt, Shirley Ooten, and a beloved brother-in-law Jody Ooten. Those here to cherish her memory are her only daughter Amanda (Baldie) Marcum. Her two beloved grandchildren Jodi (Dalton) Hatfield and Joshua Marcum. Her sisters Nora (Jackie) Meade, Kathy Runyon, Daisy (Bill) Vanover whom she loved having long phone conversations with. She is also survived by her In-laws Julian Ooten, Denny (Vicie) Evans, Judy Adams, and Randy Sargent. Many nieces and nephews Randy (Michelle) Runyon, Lydia (Todd) Holland, Bert (Nichole) Runyon Jr, Susan (Jerry) Clark, Jessica Engle, Bryant Runyon, Dustin Runyon, Dillon Holland, Jonathan Kirk, Chevy Holland, Johannah Kirk, Blake Engle, Jaxon Holland. The Family would like to give a very special thanks to her niece Megan Kirk for all her help. Funeral arrangement will be as follows: Ida’s visitation will be held Sunday January 29, 2023 from 6:00 to 9:00pm Funeral service will be held Monday January 30, 2023 at 12 pm at the Nolan Church of God Acts 20:28 in Nolan, WV. She will be buried in the Runyon Cemetery in Belo WV following her funeral service.
