Melinda Faye Jones

Melinda Faye Jones, 60 of Elk Creek, WV went home to be with the Lord on July 26, 2022 at Logan Regional Medical Center in Logan WV.

She was born June 1st, 1962 in Holden, WV the daughter of Robert and Glenna Stidem.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents Walter and Roxi Stidem, and Maternal Grandparents Howard and Rose Farmer.

Melinda attended the Ajax Church of our Lord Jesus Christ. She loved spending time with her family and cherished her grandchildren. Melinda would spend her free time reading and studying her bible preparing for her heavenly home.

Those left behind to cherish her memory include her loving husband of 45 years Perry Jones of Elk Creek, WV, mother Glena Stidem of Elk Creek WV, Son Perry (Michelle) Jones Jr of Maher WV. Brothers Terry (Diane) Sitdem of Midland NC. and Jerry (Brenda) Stidem of Stanfield NC, Grandchildren Brookelynn, Bobby, Brady, and Braygun. Step Grandchildren Austin and Kaitlynn.

Funeral Services for Melinda will be conducted on Saturday, July 30, 2022 at 1:00pm at the Colegrove Funeral Home Chapel in Williamson, WV with Minister Albert Goble officiating. Burial will follow at the White Cemetery in Elk Creek, WV.

Visitation will be at the Colegrove Funeral Home Chapel on Friday July 29, 2022 from 7:00pm to 9:00pm
