R. Rose "Dook" Newsome

R. Rose "Dook" Newsome Born Nov. 11, 1944 in Holden WV departed this world Dec 28, 2022 

She was a retired Med Tech and Homemaker. She was preceded in death by the love of her life Walter Newsome, parents Claude and Ethel (Dempsey) Etters, Brothers Oscar and Elmer Etters, Sister Goldie (Blackie) Newsome and Son in law Richard Justice. 

She is survived by her children Timothy (Nora) Newsome of Elk Creek, Pamela Newsome of Lenore, Grandchildren Ashley (Travis) Hedge of Lenore WV, Ashley (Courtney) Newsome of Elk Creek, Kimberly (Bobby, Kolffe) Newsome of Belo, Great Grandchildren, Zachary Newsome, Gabriel Koloff, Kiarra Gillman, Bobby Koloff Jr., Cayman Aliff, Gracie Aliff, Alex Anderson, Mj Anderson, and her dog and loving companion Sheba. Special sister Imogene Newsome and a host of friends and family.

Services will be held Saturday December 31st from 11:00am to 1:00pm at the Lilly of The Valley Church at Riffe Branch, Wv where she was a life time member.

Burial will follow in the Spence Family Cemetery in Riffe Branch, West Virginia
